Riffat enthuses: ‘When I first experimented with make-up I was drawn to the elegance of women around me. Growing up in Pakistan meant I was exposed to some of the most beautiful women in the world - the iconic models, actresses and performers who set the trends for what women aspired to look like such as the legendary Noor Jahan, world-famous Mujra dancer Nargis and of course the magnificent actress Juggan Kazim. These powerful women changed the face of Asian beauty as they were never afraid to stand out; wisdom I impart to all my clients.’

 

Success came early for Riffat who proved her credentials by working backstage at catwalk shows and events as well as bookings for all kinds of celebrations, not just weddings. Riffat’s warm, friendly and positive personality makes it a pleasure to work with her so it’s not surprising to hear that she also runs a training academy where you can learn some of her best-kept beauty secrets. 

 

In addition Riffat has also opened her first salon. The retreat in Soho Road, Birmingham is a beauty oasis offering a range of pampering treatments including manicures, pedicures, laser hair removal and facials.
